The Brief
My client- Mercedes Sustar- is a content creator who was looking for new business cards to match her portfolio theme. She wanted something pink with script font that reflected her personality but still would stand out amongst the crowd. The project eventually evolved from business card to a branding package including logos, icons, color guides, templates, and a website design demo.
The Process
Step 2: Drafting
I spent the next few days jumping right into my drafting phase. I always go through several rounds on Illustrator before I check in with the client about the design so far.
Step 1: Finding Inspiration
The first step to any project I tackle is finding the right inspiration. Naturally, I dug through Pinterest for business card inspiration, adding her core requirements and key words in the search.
Step 3: Final Design
After showing drafts to my client, I then finalized the design and mocked it up so that way it could be sent off to print for Sustar to use at future events. Since then we have worked on finalizing the mini brand guide as well as working on templates and website design.
